Unsanitised, delves into the haunting legacies of witch-persecution in Britain, interrogating how women’s bodies have historically been judged, controlled, and culturally weaponised.

 

Through a powerful combination of 35mm film, digital imagery, symbolic landscapes, and immersive audio, the work reclaims narratives of women once silenced, inviting viewers into a visceral exploration of memory, myth, and resistance.

 

This exhibition forms the end of Merry’s ongoing MA in Photography and offers a rare insight into a deeply personal, politically charged, and meticulously crafted visual journey.
